Position: Android Mobile App Developer Location: Remote Job Summary: As a Mobile Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and user-friendly solutions, adhering to best practices and ensuring a seamless user experience. Responsibilities: 1. Mobile App Development: Design, develop, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform using Java/Kotlin and Android SDK. 2. UI/UX Implementation: Implement engaging and intuitive user interfaces following Android design guidelines and principles. 3. API Integration: Integrate with backend services and external APIs to fetch and manipulate data, ensuring seamless functionality. 4. Code Review and Optimization: Conduct code reviews, identify performance bottlenecks, and optimize application code for efficiency and scalability. 5. Testing and Debugging: Perform rigorous testing, debug and resolve issues, ensuring the application's stability, responsiveness, and reliability. 6. Version Control and Deployment: Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) and manage app deployment processes to the Google Play Store or other platforms. 7. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality products. 8. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, API references, and code documentation. 9. Stay Updated: Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the Android development space, and actively apply new knowledge to projects. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience). Proven work experience as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio of mobile applications. Proficiency in Java/Kotlin and deep understanding of the Android SDK, design patterns, and best practices. Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and web services integration. Familiarity with development tools such as Android Studio, Gradle, and debugging tools. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of reactive programming frameworks like RxJava/RxKotlin. Understanding of Android Jetpack components and architecture components. Familiarity with cloud technologies, mobile app security best practices, and authentication mechanisms. Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
