Facilities Support

Facilities Support Clearwater, FL POSITION SUMMARY: Facilities Support will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities, including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and basic indoor and outdoor maintenance. Duties and Responsibilities: · Performs general maintenance duties: may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures. · Performs routine maintenance on building systems. · Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors · Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff · Performing basic plumbing tasks, which includes unclogging drains as well as fixing leaking faucets and toilets. · Performs basic maintenance to outside area of the building · Moving or set up of office furniture, equipment · Fire and building inspectors. · Completing work order for SCC and RCM · Complies with all approved procedures, directives, and guidelines. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Education Required: · High School or GED Diploma Experience Required: · A minimum of 3+ years of experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. Mechanical systems (including relevant equipment and tools) are a plus. Skills Required: · Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and lift or move heavy equipment · Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and other manuals and documents · Ability to work in a team and follow instructions from supervisors · May be required to work outside of normal work hours. · The ability to handle multi-tasks. · The ability to define priorities and respond accordingly.
