Senior AccountantSanta Monica, CA (Full-Time, Onsite)$90K–$125K + bonus + equityA rapidly growing and highly innovative company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its expanding finance team. This role will play a key part in day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting, with ownership across month-end close, AP/AR processes, reconciliations, audit support, and process improvement initiatives.The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, technically strong, and excited by the opportunity to help build scalable accounting infrastructure within a fast-paced, evolving environment.Responsibilities:• Own month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis• Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes• Support billing, collections, cash applications, and expense management• Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams to ensure financial accuracy and alignment• Assist with implementation and optimization of accounting processes, controls, and systems• Support external audits and prepare required documentation• Maintain accuracy and integrity across financial records and reporting• Help improve workflows and contribute to building scalable financial operationsQualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance• CPA required• 4–10 years of accounting experience within startup, high-growth, manufacturing, or related environments preferred• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and core accounting principles• Experience owning accounting processes and month-end close responsibilities• Exposure to cost accounting preferred• Experience working with ERP systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar platforms• Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, highly collaborative environmentAdditional Details:• Full-time onsite role based in Santa Monica• Competitive compensation package including bonus and equity potential• Comprehensive healthcare benefits and 401(k) match• Daily catered lunches, snacks, and office perks• High-growth environment with strong long-term opportunity
