Baker
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled baker to join our venture. This position is essential in delivering high-quality baked goods in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all food preparation meets our standards of excellence. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in QSR, large quantity prep, baking, pastry arts and will be passionate about meal preparation and menu planning.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in menu planning, ensuring a variety of options that cater to dietary needs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food prep areas.
Handle food safely and adhere to all food handling regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Support both the Head Baker and Butcher.
Participate in inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
Utilize existing retail options as menu ingredients to develop new meals.
Qualifications
Dependable transportation
Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills with a focus on meal preparation and presentation.
A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that exceed guest expectations.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Serv Safe is a plus but not required.
