Confidence changes people and people change the world.JOB OVERVIEWJoin our team of dedicated music educators at Destiny Studio as an Instructor. We are seeking passionate and skilled individuals who are committed to nurturing confidence and fulfillment in our students of all ages and skill levels.RESPONSIBILITIESTeach high-quality private lessons (voice and/or instruments) to students of all ages and skill levelsArrive at least 10 minutes prior to your first scheduled lesson each shift to prepare for the daySubmit weekly student lesson notes in LessonMate to support progress tracking and parent communicationMaintain a clean and professional teaching space by resetting your lesson room after each sessionServe as a mentor and confidence coach to every student, applying our Artist Pathway CurriculumPrepare students for showcases, recitals, and other studio performance opportunitiesCollaborate with fellow instructors and staff to foster a supportive, fun, and professional studio cultureAssist with studio events, workshops, themed parties, and community engagement opportunitiesCommunicate clearly and positively with students, families, and team members.Participate in regular professional development, training sessions, and team-building activitiesQUALIFICATIONSREQUIRED:Musical training and/or performance experienceAbility to teach private lessons confidently and competentlyPassion for people, especially children and teensStrong interpersonal and communication skillsPREFERRED:Degree or coursework in Music Education, Performance, or Music BusinessProficiency in a secondary instrument (piano/guitar/drums highly preferred)Experience with early childhood or group music instructionComfortable working with studio software (Opus1), GSuite, and CanvaPERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:Enthusiastic, dependable, and proactiveWilling to learn and teach within our coaching philosophySelf-motivated and able to operate with a self-employed mentalityKind, encouraging, and team-orientedShares our love for people, parties, and performanceBENEFITSCompetitive pay based on experienceAll curriculum, training and resources needed to do the job effectivelyOpportunity for advancement and growth in this position and leadership in the companyA dynamic and collaborative work environment with a passionate teamEmployee Lesson Discount Benefit: After 90 days of employment, employees are eligible for discounted lessons. A 50% discount is available for the employee, their spouse, and dependent children. A 25% discount is available for siblings.
