Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus availableOpportunity:/nRad Tech - Interventional Radiology/n/nJob Details:/n• Position is for a Radiology Technologist, not an RN/n• Work in Interventional Radiology department on the 1st floor of the main building/n• Day shift includes 3-4 Techs, 3-4 RNs, and 1 Scheduler/Coordinator/n• Night shift operates on call basis/n• 1-2 nights of call per week, 1 weekend of call every 4-5 weekends/n• Patient ratios depend on type of IR procedure being performed/n• Work with Discovery 740 IGS equipment/n• Use Meditech EMR system/n• Must have critical care experience, procedural area experience, and moderate sedation experience/n• PALS and Meditech experience preferred/n• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS/n• Perform biopsies/drain insertion, angiograms/peripheral vascular procedures, paracenteses/thoracentesis/n• Assist with other imaging needs including CT Coronary, MRI monitoring, and myelograms/n• Assist with line placement procedures/n• May float to CT, MRI, or general Radiology departments/n• Scrubs provided by facility/n• Must be outgoing, self-starter, team oriented with positive personality/n/nFacility:/nThis healthcare facility operates a comprehensive interventional radiology department with state-of-the-art imaging equipment and a dedicated team of specialists.
