Project Coordinator (Engineering & Construction)📍Chesapeake, VA I Onsite | Full-TimeWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support engineering and construction projects in a fast-paced, professional environment. This role works closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution, accurate documentation, and effective communication across all stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate project activities and support Project Managers with day-to-day operationsFacilitate communication between clients, vendors, suppliers, and internal project teamsPrepare and present meeting notes, reports, and presentations using tools like Excel and PowerPointTrack project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure deadlines are metPlan and coordinate meetings (on-site and off-site), including team meetings, trainings, and stakeholder reviewsMaintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, invoices, and compliance recordsVerify and process invoices, expense reports, and project-related financial documentationAssist with project setup, reporting, forecasting, and closeout activitiesCoordinate training requirements and maintain compliance records for project personnelSupport IT and administrative needs for project teamsInvestigate billing discrepancies and provide updates to project leadershipQualificationsEducation & Experience (one of the following): Bachelor’s degree + 8+ years of experienceAssociate degree + 10+ years of experienceHigh School Diploma/GED + 11+ years of experienceAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectivelyExperience supporting engineering, construction, or technical projects is highly preferredAdditional RequirementsMust be able to work onsite during standard business hoursThis role supports a federal project and requires successful completion of a drug screening as a condition of employment
