Commercial property management owner/manager is looking to add an Accounting Administrator / Accounts Payable Specialist to their beautiful commercial office portfolio. Position will manage the property's A/P and a variety of accounting and office responsibilities. Position will work under an experienced Manager and support the property management team. Company offers excellent benefits and a great environment to learn in!Responsibilities and DutiesOpening incoming payable invoicesMatching and batching invoicesResearching short-payments through various online systemsManaging files for invoicesProcessing payments and checksInputting new client informationProcessing A/R statementsPreparing spreadsheetsInputting data into existing spreadsheets and reformatting as neededAssisting with month-end closeAssembling materials for accounting meetingsProviding clerical support to Accountants and PM as neededCross-training with other staff, to provide back-up support as neededOrdering office supplies and assisting with a variety of special projectsQualifications and SkillsBS or BA or AA in AccountingIntermediate to advanced MS Office skillsProperty Accounting experience a plus!Willingness to learnAbility to manage multiple responsibilitiesGood communication skillsCompany DescriptionTORP Group is a recruitment firm that specializes in placing in: Property and Real Estate Management,Administrative Support, Accounting, Construction Project Management, and Project Coordination.
