Job Summary: The Marine Forces Special Operation Command (MARFORSOC) Recruiting and Advertising (R&A) Branch conducts activities to identify, recruit, screen and process qualified applicants for MARFORSOC personnel assignments. Assigned contractors work collaboratively with government personnel as part of the R&A team to accomplish recruiting mission objectives. The Strategic Communications Specialist provides digital marketing expertise, content creation, media production, platform management and conducts analysis to achieve R&A Branch recruiting objectives.Responsibilities:Provides recommendations for all R&A Branch digital marketing efforts, including developing social media and email marketing strategies, and conducting market researchConducts content creation and media production including text for advertisements, social media posts, email campaigns, web pages, and recruiting scriptsConducts hands-on design and production of digital and physical brand assets (e.g., promotional merchandise, displays, and briefs) and all media production duties, to include still photography and video post-productionManages the R&A Branch recruiting website and all R&A social media platformsConduct and optimize Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and advertising campaigns and utilize standard web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and social media intelligence platforms (e.g., Sprout Social) to track, analyze, and report on campaign performanceCoordinate review and approval of strategic communications, brand assets, and public-facing content with the R&A Branch Director prior to publication or distributionAssist in the planning, execution, management and reporting for the government-provided online paid advertising budgetRequired Skills and Experience: Must possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field; OR in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma with an additional four (4) years of relevant experienceMinimum of five (5) years of experience in strategic communications and digital marketing, with demonstrated experience in SEO and SEMDemonstrated excellence in professional copywriting and content creation for digital and print channels, including advertising, social media, and long-form web contentExperience designing and creating HTML email templates for use within a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systemKnowledge of UI/UX principles for web designMust be proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud applications and managing content within a Content Management System (CMS)Have a portfolio of relevant work which must include multiple examples of professional copywritingObtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance and valid US passportDesired Skills and Experience:Prior / current work experience with the MARFORSOC R&A programExperience / familiarity with military recruiting and related media development and communicationsRequired Background Check: T3i pre-employment background check and drug screening. Verification of DoW SECRET clearanceType of Employment: Full-TimeT3i Drug Free Workplace Statement: As a Federal Government Contractor, T3i is required to strictly adhere to federally mandated drug-free workplace standards. To ensure compliance with this requirement, T3i conducts pre-employment drug screening for all new hire personnel (full time, part time, and independent contractor) and annual random drug screening for all current T3i personnel. All drug screening includes testing for the following drugs, at a minimum: Marijuana (CBD, hemp oil, and other cannabidiol use may result in a positive result), cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, 6-monoacetylmorphine, and PCP. Personnel who cannot pass drug screening are not eligible for employment with T3i.
