Job Title: Production Supervisor 1st ShiftLocation: Cleveland, OHBusiness Unit: Team WendySchedule: 5:00am-1:00pmPurpose of Position:We are currently in search of a highly skilled Production Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of workers involved in the fabrication, assembly, and processing of our company's products. The primary goal of this role is to ensure that production processes run efficiently, and that the quality of the output meets our standards. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing a team of workers, implementing production schedules, monitoring the quality of products, and ensuring that safety and operational procedures are followed.The RoleThe Production Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable delivery of daily production output to meet customer demand.Leading frontline production teams, the role is responsible for translating production plans into execution, maintaining clear communication across the value stream, and ensuring that people, materials and information are aligned to deliver operational targets.This role is pivotal in driving day today performance, identifying and escalating issues early, and reinforcing a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement on the shop floor.Role PurposeThe Production Supervisor is accountable for:Delivering daily production requirements in line with customer demand and production plansLeading, coordinating and developing production personnel to deliver safe, high-quality outputActing as a key communication link between production teams and the Value Stream ManagerEscalating safety, quality, delivery or cost risks promptly and clearlyBuilding a capable, engaged and resilient team with appropriate staffing and skills coverageDecision & Escalation ScopeThe Production Supervisor is expected to:Make real time decisions on labour allocation, task sequencing and short-term production prioritiesManage day to day trade-offs within the shift to maintain safety, quality and deliveryResolve Tier 1 issues independently using standard work and problem solving toolsKey AccountabilitiesProduction DeliveryExecute daily and shift based production plans with high schedule adherence and output reliabilityUse visual management to track performance against plan and highlight gapsActively manage constraints and risks during the shift, taking timely corrective actionEnsure production activities are carried out in accordance with safety, quality and operating standardsAbout Avon Technologies:We are a world leader in protective equipment, with a reputation for innovative design, high-performance quality and specialist materials expertise.
