Senior Systems Administrator

We’re looking for a highly hands-on Senior Systems Administrator who can own problems end-to-end and get things done quickly. This is not a “manage vendors and attend meetings” role.Fixes issues when they ariseBuilds and improves systemsSupports users directlyKeeps the company running day-to-dayResponsibilitiesEnd-user support (advanced): Diagnose and resolve real issues across Windows and mobile devicesMicrosoft 365 / Azure: User provisioning, permissions, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, troubleshooting sync/auth issuesIdentity & access: Manage Entra ID (Azure AD), MFA, conditional access, SSO integrationsDevice management: Provision, secure, and maintain laptops and mobile devicesNetworking: Configure and troubleshoot Ubiquiti environments, VPNs, switching, firewallsPrinters & peripherals: Yes, this includes fixing printers when neededVoIP & conferencing: Troubleshoot Teams and AV setupsInfrastructure: Maintain and improve cloud + on-prem systems (as applicable)Security: Endpoint protection, patching, vulnerability remediationAutomation: Use PowerShell or scripting where possible to eliminate repetitive workDocumentation: Create simple, usable documentation Qualifications5–10 years of hands-on systems / network administrationRequired SkillsStrong experience with:Microsoft 365 / Azure / Entra IDWindows + Mac environmentsNetworking (VPNs, firewalls, switching)Comfortable working directly with users and leadershipAble to troubleshoot across:DevicesNetworksCloud systemsExperience in fast-moving or MSP environments is a plusExpectationsYou will be the go-to person when issues ariseSome after-hours work may be required for maintenance or urgent issuesYou must be comfortable working independently and taking initiativeIdeal Candidate TraitsNaturally curious and likes solving problemsMoves fast and doesn’t get stuckTakes ownership instead of escalating immediatelyComfortable figuring things out without perfect documentation
