Exciting Opportunity for Radiotherapy Therapist Job Description: - Join our dynamic Radiation Oncology team as a Radiotherapy Technologist for a 13-week assignment! - Enjoy a consistent schedule: 5 x 8 hours (Monday through Friday) day shift with a start time of 0700 - 0800. Key Responsibilities: - Bring your minimum of 3 years of experience in Radiation Oncology to the forefront. - Skillfully set up and align patients using various imaging techniques for radiation therapy treatments. - Assess patient status during direct interactions and refer to appropriate healthcare team members as needed. - Prepare for treatment delivery, including: - Chart/film checks - Room setup - Accurate calculations - Electronic medical record (MOSAIQ) checks - Treatment calendar management (including programming port films) - Perform patient setup and CT scans for radiation therapy planning as required. - Collaborate closely with fellow radiation therapists and team members to accomplish additional tasks as needed. Preferred Experience: - Familiarity with Varian TrueBeam and/or MOSAIQ. Certification Requirements: - Valid ARRT and CA RTT license. - Current BLS certification.
