This position offers exposure to open heart, thoracic, and vascular cases, a flexible staffing model with 10-hour shifts, Cerner charting, and long-term career growth in a collaborative surgical environment. Up to $10,500 sign-on bonus is available. Position Overview· Permanent, full-time role· 40 hours per week· Rotating shifts· Cardio OR (CVOR) setting· Cerner electronic medical record system Shift Details· 10-hour shift options· Rotating schedule· On-call rotation (approximately 10–15 calls per schedule)· Rotation to general surgery when CVOR rooms are not running Compensation & Incentives· Salary range: $53,394 – $80,080 annually (based on experience)· Up to $10,500 sign-on bonus· Shift and weekend differentials· Comprehensive benefits package Key Responsibilities· Scrub independently for cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular procedures· Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields· Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments and supplies· Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping· Maintain aseptic technique and infection control standards· Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and OR staff Requirements· Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program· Active CST certification (required)· BLS certification (required)· New graduates must complete certification within 6 months Why This OpportunityThis role is ideal for a CVOR technologist seeking stability, strong case variety, and long-term growth within a supportive cardiac surgery team.
