Supply Chain Operations Analyst
ESC has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Operations Analyst to support a robotics-focused supply chain operations team in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment in North Reading, MA. This 9-month contract role is ideal for an analytical and detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with data, solving operational challenges, and supporting inventory and materials planning. The Supply Chain Operations Analyst will play a key role in demand planning, inventory balancing, and driving efficiencies across supply chain processes.Job Description:Supply & Demand Planning / Inventory Management (50%)• Perform daily demand and supply analysis to identify material needs and shortages• Track material risk, monitor inventory levels, and support inventory balancing efforts• Work to reduce excess inventory while ensuring availability of critical components• Support spare parts replenishment planning and execution• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and risks impacting delivery timelinesData Analysis & Process Improvement (30%)• Develop and maintain advanced Excel models and utilize SQL to analyze supply chain data• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend solutions to streamline workflows and reduce waste• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on scalability and operational efficiency• Problem solve complex supply chain challenges and design data-driven solutionsDocumentation & Cross-Functional Support (20%)• Maintain and update internal documentation for training, processes, and system references• Partner with cross-functional teams including procurement, planning, and operations• Communicate supply risks, updates, and action plans to stakeholders• Support onboarding of new processes and tools within the teamMust Have Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Transportation, Operations, or related field• 1–2+ years of experience in a supply chain, operations, or analyst role• Strong Excel skills with experience building and managing data models• Experience with SQL or willingness to learn for data analysis• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills• Understanding of supply chain concepts such as demand planning, inventory management, or materials management• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesNice to Have Qualifications:• Experience in supply chain or materials management environments• Exposure to NPI (New Product Introduction) materials management• Familiarity with systems and configuration management concepts• Experience working in highly operational or technical environments• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify process improvement opportunities
