If unable to perform a certain task, report to the primary nurse.Follow specific written instructions for personal care prepared by a registered nurse in accordance with the plan of care. Written instructions are to be received prior to the delivery of services.Assists patients with prescribed exercises as instructed by nurse or therapist.Performs and records simple urine tests for sugar, acetone, and albumin.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications* High school diploma or equivalent.Current state certification (or registration) as a nurse assistant as per state certification/registration requirements.CNA experience within the last two years.Current CPR certification.Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and liability insurance.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets and may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Amedisys is an equal opportunity employer.
