The role
To support our growing activities, we are looking to grow the team with a full time experienced Accountant who will help us keep track of the financial operations of our US entity. The position reports to the Director of Finance and the role is based out of our Santa Clarita, CA office. This is an on-site position.

Your responsibilities
You will support the company's financial operations in many aspects:
Maintain financial records and assist with month-end closing tasks
Assist with sales tax filings in accordance with related laws and regulations and AVALARA system
Collect, analyse and report financial data
Assist auditing tasks
Organize completeness and accuracy of Master data
Communicate with customers on payment or invoice-related inquiries as needed
Advise best practices and optimizations throughout accounting processes (incl. digitalization)
Perform day-to-day accounting activities such as preparing journal entries and reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts
Generate, analyze and maintain AR aging reports
Process AP invoices and ensure timely payments via ACH & online portals
Reconcile credit card transactions and expense reports via SAP Concur
Ensure smooth financial operations while supporting other departments
What you bring to the table
University Degree in accounting/finance
Understanding of financial processes
Minimum 5 years’ experience working in an accounting position or in auditing in a Big 4 Company
Strong attention to detail
Strong analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Interest towards automatization
Ability to focus on spreadsheets, data system and figures for a long period of time
Having dealt with confidential data
Time management and organizational skills
Knowledge of relevant tax laws in accordance with the Bureau of Labour Statistics
Be able to show initiative as much as working autonomously
Experience working with ERPs (incl. MS-Office), namely Microsoft Navision and SAP S/4 Hana a significant plus!
