Technical Project Manager

DescriptionAbout the RoleWe are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of complex, cross-functional product development projects. This role is responsible for driving projects from concept through launch and lifecycle support, ensuring alignment between product goals, engineering execution, and business priorities.Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will work closely with Product Development, Quality Assurance, Marketing, and Sales to bring innovative products to market. You’ll serve as the central point of coordination across hardware and software teams, helping ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.RequirementsWhat You’ll DoManage multiple projects across the full product lifecycle—from concept and design through launch, support, and end-of-lifeDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and key milestonesIdentify and manage risks, dependencies, and critical path activitiesCoordinate cross-functional teams across hardware, software, and business functionsProvide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and progressEnsure alignment between product objectives and engineering executionSupport Design for Testability (DFT), QA processes, and overall product lifecycle planningIdentify and resolve technical and operational challengesDrive continuous improvement in development processes and team efficiencyMonitor team capacity and coordinate resources to support project timelinesExperienceWhat We’re Looking For4–7 years of experience in a technical or engineering environmentExperience managing cross-functional projects involving hardware and/or softwareExperience supporting product development from concept through productionAutomotive or embedded systems experience is a plusSkillsStrong project planning, organization, and execution skillsAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentAbility to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teamsUnderstanding of hardware and software development environmentsTechnical KnowledgeAbility to interpret schematics and understand system-level architectureFamiliarity with vehicle network technologies (CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, etc.)Working knowledge of APIs, firmware, and technical documentationToolsExperience with Jira or similar project management toolsExperience with Gantt charts or project scheduling toolsStrong Excel (or equivalent) skillsFamiliarity with Git or version control systemsEducationBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
