Food Service Team Member - Old Mill Complex

DescriptionJob Title:Food Service AttendantDepartment:Old Mill ComplexReports To:Old Mill ManagerStatus: SeasonalAge:14 years or older SUMMARYThe primary purpose of a Food Service Attendant is to assist guests with their food/drink order, answer questions, run the cash register, and maintain a clean workstation. Old Mill Complex consists of the following stands: Bavarian Nuts, Creekside Coffee, Dippin' Dots, Kettle Korn, Old Mill Ice Cream, Shake Shack, Round Stand, Starbucks Express, Stony Gables, and Wharf. This is a seasonal position, reporting to the Old Mill Manager. Park's operational summer hours are typically Sunday through Tuesday 12pm to 8pm and Wednesday through Saturday 12pm to 9pm. During the parks season, evening and weekend hours are required. RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare food items, if appropriate, prior to orders being taken Take food and drink orders Serve guest food or drink orders accurately Accurately ring up sale in cash register Receive correct money or tickets and give correct change Stock food and supplies as needed KEY COMPETENCIESCandidate should possess strong communication skills, high degree of integrity, positive attitude, attention to detail and the ability to solve problems Candidate should have the ability to build strong relationships with guests, provide a high level of guest service, and be an effective member of a team Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy Strong customer service skills, both internal and external Maintain a positive attitude Exceptional communication skills while relating to people in a friendly, professional manner Self-motivated; acts without needing directions Perform cleaning duties as needed to maintain a clean, safe work environment This job description describes the general nature of the duties and requirements of this job.
