Thin Film Maintenance Technician (2nd shift)
We are presently seeking a Thin Film Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for General repairs and maintenance of vacuum deposition chambers and related equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a variety of high-vacuum chambers and related equipment.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PMs), pump replacements, and component rebuilds.
Support Thin Film Engineering with coating chamber modifications, upgrades, and improvements.
Maintain accurate inventory of parts and supplies related to coating machines.
Disassemble, clean, and reassemble grid sets, cathodes, planetaries, and other spare components.
Maintain and support electronics and computer-based equipment used in Thin Film operations.
Assist in developing, organizing, and updating preventive maintenance programs and procedures.
Help write and revise technical maintenance documentation for production equipment.
Troubleshoot electronic systems down to the component level.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in a related technical field preferred.
Five (5) or more years of experience working with thin film or high-vacuum equipment preferred.
Experience supporting planned maintenance programs and maintaining organized maintenance records.
Hands-on experience with thin film deposition systems, including Ion Beam Deposition (RF and DC), preferred.
Experience with Electron Beam Deposition equipment preferred.
Strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot production and machine-related electronics (required).
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation preferred.

Pay Range - $26 - $33 an hour depending on experience
