School-Based Speech Pathology Assistant | Rockport, Texas

This contract position is seeking Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to support students in a school setting located in Rockport, TX. This opportunity offers the chance to work closely with speech-language pathologists and assist in delivering essential communication therapy services to children in an educational environment.Key Responsibilities:Assist speech-language pathologists in implementing therapy plans designed to improve students' speech and language skills.Work collaboratively with educators and therapists to support individual student goals.Monitor and record student progress, maintaining accurate documentation.Prepare and organize therapy materials and resources.Support students during therapy sessions, encouraging participation and skill development.Desired Qualifications:Prior experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, preferably in school settings.Knowledge of and ability to assist with speech and language therapy techniques.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff.Ability to follow treatment plans accurately and provide feedback on student progress.Relevant certification and licensing as required by state regulations.Location:Rockport, Texas - position based within a school environment.Contract Details:This is a contract role with an upcoming need for approximately 10 SLPAs.The opportunity is currently under development through a quote agreement, and recruitment is anticipated to begin soon.
