At Nexus Engineering Group, our Project Schedulers keep complex engineering and construction projects on track from concept to commissioning. As a Project Scheduler on our Project Services team, you'll partner with Project Managers and Discipline Leads to build the schedules that drive on-time, on-budget delivery — and you'll have a direct line of sight into how your work shapes project outcomes.What You'll DoBuild, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules in Primavera P6, from front-end loading (FEL) and detailed design through construction and commissioningEstablish project logic networks, baselines, forecasts, and schedule quality checks across your assigned projectsTrack earned value, run schedule variance analysis, and produce performance reports that give project leadership a clear read on trendsPartner with Project Managers and Discipline Leads to gather progress updates and integrate schedule inputsSurface schedule risks early and present recovery options to project and functional leadershipContribute to lessons learned, standardization, and continuous improvement of scheduling tools and practicesWhat You'll Bring (Required)2-5+ years of experience developing and maintaining engineering or construction project schedules (open to candidates outside this range with equivalent qualifications)Hands-on Primavera P6 experienceWorking knowledge of earned value management, forecasting, and schedule performance metricsStrong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experienceStrong analytical, written, and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently, manage deadlines, and deliver under pressureNice To Have (Preferred)PMP (Project Management Professional) certificationPSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional) certificationCCP (Certified Cost Professional) certificationWorking ConditionsTravel up to 25% for client and project site visitsMay include time at active construction sites; appropriate PPE will be providedCompetitive BenefitsLearn more about our competitive benefits in detail.Why Nexus?Nexus Engineering Group, a distinguished independent full-service engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCm) firm, provides comprehensive support to clients from concept through startup.
