Machine Operator-2nd Shift (Forming B2)

Brief DescriptionThe Machine Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating process specific machines and equipment that convert materials into finished product. The Operator is responsible for running machines to meet established production requirements and for performing activities associated with safe machine operation, perform preventative maintenance and machine service, quality, documentation, housekeeping, and sanitation. Run machines at established rates, follow the production schedule, continuously monitor machine performance, and document any variables that may cause machine downtimeMonitor machine operation observing indicators such as vision system, heater temperature and product weight to detect machine malfunctions and use those indicators to troubleshoot to maintain machine operationPerform adjustments and service on machine/equipment as required by specific processPerform preventative maintenance activitiesPerform machine specific cleaning and service to the machineUse RF scanner to scan transactions to the Warehouse and Production area using SAP systemMaintain process specific production supplies and materials in the work area using a manual pallet jack and/or forkliftPerform process specific quality checks and make machine adjustments to resolve quality issuesRecord data on specified forms and complete required line documentationCommunicate production and machine issues to the supervisor and other production personnelPerform housekeeping and machine sanitation requirementsAssist other operators as required and relieve other line personnel for breaks and lunchAssist in training other process operators and process support personnel such as material handlersComply with all company policies and procedures including GMP, PPE, HACCP, LOTO, and JSA regulationsResponsible for ensuring, where applicable, the product safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and legality of all products produced and soldWork in accordance with all company policies and procedures regarding employment, safety, quality, product safety and legality, security, and regulatory compliance as applicablePackage product per specificationsOther duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned by supervisor at any time with or without noticeSummaryWhat makes Sabert a great place to work:Pay, Benefits And More.Sabert is eager to attract the best, so we offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package, including full health insurance (medical, dental and vision), 401(k), life insurance, disability and more.
