This role will be responsible for driving and leading the full lifecycle program execution of switch platforms. The successful candidate will orchestrate complex, cross-functional initiatives involving hardware, firmware, software, validation, and customer deployment.You will serve as the central program leader, ensuring seamless coordination between internal Supermicro teams and key partner's engineering, operations, and support organizations. This is a high-visibility role that requires strong technical acumen, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage sophisticated technology programs in a fast-paced environment.This role will be based in our headquarters, located in San Jose, CA.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesLead cross-functional program execution for OEM switch platforms, including hardware, firmware, software, validation, and customer deployment activitiesDrive end-to-end project planning, scheduling, risk management, resource coordination, and milestone tracking across internal teams and external partnersCoordinate closely with key partner's engineering, operations, and support teams to manage deliverables, escalations, release schedules, and issue resolution activitiesEstablish and maintain program governance processes, status reporting structures, escalation paths, and operational review mechanismsTrack and manage critical technical issues, dependencies, action items, and cross-functional blockers to ensure timely project execution and on-time deliverySupport New Product Introduction (NPI) processes, validation milestones, qualification activities, and customer acceptance readinessDrive continuous improvement in engineering processes, issue tracking, change management, and deployment methodologiesDevelop executive-level status reports, project dashboards, risk assessments, and operational metrics for leadership reviewsCoordinate customer-facing activities including deployment schedules, technical reviews, escalation management, and program updatesEnsure strong alignment between business objectives, customer requirements, and engineering execution prioritiesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred)8+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Project Management, or Systems Engineering roles, with a focus on networking, data center hardware, or high-performance computing productsProven experience managing complex programs involving networking switches, ASICs, firmware, and software integrationStrong technical background and ability to understand hardware architecture, firmware development, software integration, and system validation processesStrong ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentExperience with NPI (New Product Introduction) and product qualification processes in the data center or server industrySalary Range$160,000 - $180,000The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
