Installation Apprentice

Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and motivated Apprentice Installer to join our trash and linen chute installation team. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn a specialized trade working on commercial and multi-story buildings such as hospitals, hotels, apartments, and high-rise facilities. No prior chute experience required—we provide full training. Responsibilities Assist with installation of trash and linen chutes from floor to floor Work with sheet metal components, doors, frames, and intake hoppers Use hand and power tools safely and correctly Read basic drawings and follow installation plans Help with measuring, cutting, fastening, and sealing components Maintain a clean and safe job site Travel to job sites as needed and work as part of a crew Requirements Strong willingness to learn new skills and adapt quickly in dynamic environments Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines accurately Good communication skills and a proactive attitude toward teamwork Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting equipment, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors or in confined spaces High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or coursework related to electrical or mechanical trades is advantageous Good driving record Join us as a Field Apprentice and take the first step toward a rewarding career filled with growth opportunities!
