Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in acute care settings, including medical-surgical units, ICU, emergency medicine, and hospital environments. This role offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive patient care across a variety of medical conditions, utilizing advanced clinical skills and EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, and Athenahealth. Experience with diverse specialties including cardiology, infectious disease, geriatrics, pediatrics, trauma medicine, and post-acute care is highly valued. Job details: Position: RN- Med surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 AM - 07:30 PM) Weekly Hours: 36 Hours Facility address: 670 Stoneleigh Avenue, Carmel Hamlet, NY 10512 Description Provide direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical unit with orthopedic focus Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process Administer medications and treatments per physician orders Document patient care accurately Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team May float between two Med Surg units.
