Company Overview:A private investment firm in Boston is hiring an Analyst to support investment decision-making and portfolio management.Job Responsibilities:Coordinate and review the processing of investment transactions, such as capital calls and distributionsMonitor and report on the quarterly performance of fund and company investmentsUpdate reporting systems with quarterly valuation dataGenerate, review, and distribute investor performance reportsPerform valuation analysis for company and fund investmentsPrepare support for and attend limited partner meetingsConduct due diligence for evaluating investment opportunitiesAssist with analyzing transactions and preparing investment documentationCreate and review workpapers for annual tax returnsAssist with procedures for annual financial statement auditsQualifications:Undergraduate degree in finance with outstanding academic credentials, a high GPA is a must 6-12 months of work experience in investment management or financial advisory rolesMust be a CFA candidateProficient with Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH, OFFSET, XIRRUnderstanding of valuation techniques, including discounted cash flow analysisBasic understanding of accounting and financial statementsFamiliarity with capital structures and direct investments in early-stage companiesCompensation:Salary: $65,000 – $75,000The post Private Investments Analyst appeared first on Landing Point.
