This role ensures successful supplier adoption through hands-on support, training coordination, process compliance, and proactive issue resolution. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between internal teams and external vendors, managing the day-to-day execution of the Ariba rollout to enable a seamless transition and change management.Job Profile Tasks/ResponsibilitiesSupplier Onboarding & EnablementLead end-to-end supplier onboarding process, including account setup, registration support, and initial system access validationDevelop and maintain supplier enablement materials (user guides, FAQs, video tutorials, quick reference cards)Conduct supplier training sessions (virtual and in-person) to ensure proficiency with Ariba functionalityProvide ongoing supplier support via phone, email, and web conferencing to troubleshoot issues and answer questionsProject Coordination & CommunicationManage daily project activities, tracking supplier onboarding progress against milestones and timelinesDeliver regular status updates to project stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and escalationsCoordinate cross-functional efforts between Procurement, IT, Finance, and business units to ensure alignmentMaintain comprehensive project documentation including onboarding trackers, issue logs, and lessons learnedProcess Compliance & Change ManagementEnsure internal teams and external suppliers adhere to established Ariba processes and workflowsMonitor transaction quality and identify opportunities for process improvementDevelop and execute multi-phase communication plans (awareness, training, reinforcement) tailored to different user personas, including creation of change champion networks to build grassroots support and peer-to-peer advocacyCreate organizational readiness metrics and dashboards to track training completion, proficiency levels, and change resistance indicatorsIssue Resolution & System OptimizationServe as first line of support for supplier-related and guided buying system issues and functional questionsTriage and document Ariba bugs, working with IT and Ariba support for timely resolutionProactively identify pain points in the user experience and implement corrective actionsBuild feedback loops to continuously improve adoption and enablement processRequired QualificationsJob Profile Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or related fieldThe skills required for this role are typically demonstrated by 7 plus years of relevant experience.3-5 years of experience in supplier management, or system implementationDemonstrated experience with SAP Ariba or similar procurement platforms (Coupa, Oracle, Jaggaer)Strong project coordination skills with ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneouslyExcellent communication and training skills, with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiencesProven problem-solving ability and attention to detailExperience managing internal & external stakeholder relationshipsPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience leading supplier enablement or change management initiatives for enterprise softwareKnowledge of source-to-order (S2O) processes and best practicesExperience in manufacturing, construction, or regulated industries (nuclear, aerospace, defense)Certification in project management (PMP, CAPM) or change management (Prosci)Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL) for tracking and reportingSuccess MetricsAchieve target supplier onboarding rate within defined timelineMaintain supplier satisfaction scores above established thresholdReduce average time-to-resolution for supplier issuesEnsure 90%+ supplier compliance with Ariba transaction processes within 90 days of go-liveLocation: 530 Gaither Road, Rockville, MD.
