The nurse manager is responsible for day-to-day operations of the EP labs, he/she directs the activities of the nursing and support personnel in the EP Lab in coordinating patient flow to assure quality patient outcomes.You will oversee and perform as needed, personnel performance appraisals including the establishment of goals for each employee.You will communicate with employees (i.e.: in-service and staff meetings), on education and department/administrative issues.You will ensure compliance with nursing standards of care.You will oversee as necessary, patient records and charges are complete and correct on a daily basis.You will participate in budget and inventory control.Job Qualifications- Advanced Cardiac Life Support- Basic Cardiac Life Support· BSN REQUIREDMUST HAVE ACUTE CARE EXPERIENCEAdditional Information/nIs EP separate from IR and Cath lab are do they share staff/ space? We are a dedicated Electrophysiology program that is separate from IR and cath lab./nDo you have dedicated EP staff? All staff are dedicated to the electrophysiology program. The program name for our facility is Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute if they would like to research our department as well./nHow many EP labs do you have? 6 fully functioning labs with a 7th lab starting construction in quarter 1 of 2024. (Oversight to EP Lab, Pre & Post Surgical areas & AFIB Center)/nWhat mapping system do you use or have access to? Mainly carto mapping.
