Whether in the inpatient setting or outpatient clinics, your expertise will directly impact clinical decisions and patient outcomes.As a Sonographer, you will:Perform diagnostic and specialized ultrasound imaging, including vascular studies, with precision and compassionSupport radiologists and residents during complex or advanced studiesAct as a technical resource in your specialty area for colleagues across the imaging departmentUphold imaging standards while working independently and collaboratively across care settingsMinimum Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited ultrasound programRegistered with ARDMS or ARRT (Sonography) upon hire, or within 12 months of hireRVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or VT certification upon hire or within 12 monthsBCLS certification required and must be maintained throughout employmentStrong leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively with all members of the care teamProven ability to work independently with minimal supervisionMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with patient positioningDemonstrates understanding of the human development process and ability to care for patients across the lifespanComputer proficiency, including the ability to input and retrieve patient dataPreferred Attributes:Passion for teaching or mentoringInterest in advanced vascular imaging technologies or quality improvement initiativesWhy University Health?Work in a dynamic, academic medical centerCollaborate with a team of radiologists, residents, and specialistsAccess ongoing professional development and certification supportBe part of a mission-driven organization that values inclusion, growth, and excellence in patient careYou bring the focus.
