In fact, you have all you need to take charge of your career and accelerate better outcomes – making this a great time to join our team of passionate individuals dedicated to being a vital partner for health solutions in the public sector.Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAcentra Health is looking for a Developer, Specialist to join our growing team.The role of the Developer, Specialist is to perform thorough analysis of end-to-end solutions of complex business functionality, provide technical solutions for complex business requirements, and implement complex business solutions.ResponsibilitiesFunctions as an individual contributor and works independent of supervisionCapable of working independently and in teams to design and implement complex software programs and framework componentsServes as technical lead on development projectsProvides development strategy for a client and develops multi-year development approach on programsCoordinates and plans the tasks required for the software development and implementationCreates conceptual design and writes technical specifications for business requirementsEvaluates new technologies for solving technical problemsGuides Developer team on Proof of Concepts using new technologies and innovationRecommends technologies and solutions to enhance the user experiencePrepares conceptual technical solution based on business requirementsWorks on application integration with third-party systemsIdentifies security issues and provides corrective action planIdentifies and escalates program risks and issues to leadership, and assists in developing solutionsParticipates in design sessions and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirementsCollaborates with Business Analysis team to finalize the system design and technical solutionsDevelops process flows, screen designs, and storyboarding to support system designProvides the component level details and effort estimates to Development Principals and project managers for system enhancementsParticipates in peer reviews of detailed design and technical documentationPerforms code reviews and suggests improvement areas to Developer teamPrepares implementation checklistsDemonstrates in-depth knowledge of development to ensure high qualityRead, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security RulesRequired QualificationsRequires a bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or related discipline5+ years of software development experienceStrong experience in pythonExperience with AI, LLMs and prompt engineeringExperience utilizing AI/LLMs to build services and tools used by applicationsGood experience with cloud technologies, AWS preferred, but Azure or Google cloud acceptableKnowledge of troubleshooting technical issues with standard or custom programsGood Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC)Experience with agile development methodologiesExperience developing web services in a cloud environmentPreferred QualificationsStrong developer in Microsoft stack.
