Pay or shift range: $83,000 USD to $145,000 USD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Successful candidates are eager to tackle large complex projects with interesting problems in a fast-paced team environment.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESDevelops, promotes, and executes quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality plans, documents, and reportsCreates advancements in current quality engineering practicesCoordinates day to day activities of quality engineering and inspector staff in support of productionRetrieves, reviews, and analyzes QA data for driving continuous improvement initiativesPerforms statistical data analysis and identifies quality improvement opportunitiesPerforms evidence-based root cause analysis and corrective actionsMonitors the application of improvement initiativesWorks with process & program owners to prepare, analyze and improve quality metrics for management & program reviewsReviews new or modified documents, procedures, diagram, and/or flow charts, to determine if they will perform according to user request and conform to contractual, AS9100 or QMS requirementsParticipates in contract reviews; document and disseminate information gleaned to pertinent partiesResearch best practices to impact quality improvement initiatives and utilization standardsIdentifies and recommends procedures and workflow improvements. Works with others to develop and streamline workflowCollects, and assists with, developing and analyzing quality measurement dataProvides training to enable employees to meet consistent quality standardsParticipates in internal, regulatory and customer auditsParticipates and/or leads appropriate project workPerforms inspection activities as needed, using common hand tools, drawings, CAD models, etc. These may be receiving, in-process, source, or finalMust work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlinesMust be at work on time and maintain good attendance. Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in engineering or another technical field requiredManufacturing experience, including experience in composite fabrication with practical application of quality assurance a plusCommercial/military aerospace experience is preferredMust have demonstrated excellent communication skillsMust have strong computer skills including QA applications, word processing, spreadsheets, and databasesDETAILED WAGE INFORMATIONSalary range for this role is between $83,000 - $145,000, plus discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts. The range provided is Janicki's estimate of the base compensation for this role.
