As a Travel Planning Consultant, you’ll be instrumental in identifying customers' dream getaways and turning those dreams into reality.ResponsibilitiesEngage Leads: Connect with leads who have expressed interest through our landing page, encouraging them to discuss their vacation plans over a phone call.Detailed Consultations: Conduct thorough consultations to understand client preferences regarding vacation type, duration, and budget.Propose Vacations: Research and propose vacation options that align with client expectations, leveraging partnerships with hotels and other travel service providers.Manage Bookings: Handle the entire booking process, ensuring all client questions are answered and their needs are met from initial contact through post-vacation follow-up.Resolve Issues: Assist with any travel-related issues that clients might encounter, such as canceled flights or hotel booking problems, providing timely and effective solutions.Track Interactions: Utilize CRM tools like HubSpot to track client interactions and maintain detailed records of each consultation and transaction.Partner Engagement: Maintain and leverage strong relationships with travel partners, including Expedia and major hotel chains, to secure the best deals and commission rates.Professional Branding: Ensure a strong professional presence on platforms such as LinkedIn to foster client trust and enhance personal and company branding.The ProfileQualificationsSales Expertise: Proven experience in sales, particularly in the travel industry, with a track record of closing deals and achieving sales targets.Strong Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of conducting engaging and productive phone conversations and written communications across email, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp.Effective Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills and the ability to persuasively present travel options and solve problems effectively.Research Skills: High level of proficiency in conducting online research to compile travel recommendations and itineraries.Technological Proficiency: Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and utilize new software, including CRM systems and travel agency tools like Sabre.Proactive Mindset: A committed and proactive approach, dedicated to providing high-quality service and support throughout the client’s travel experience.Clear Communicator: Excellent and clear verbal and written communication skills.This role is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented sales professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering personalized travel solutions.
