Elementary PrincipalSibley East School District is seeking an experienced and innovative individual to provide strong leadership as a principal to students and staff at Sibley East Elementary School in Gaylord, MN. Sibley East Elementary School is a PreK - 5th grade setting that serves 500+ students. Sibley East School District is committed to a culture of high levels of learning and quality instruction, equitable education, meeting the academic, social-emotional, and physical needs of all students, and a collaborative environment.Essential duties and responsibilities include providing instructional leadership, supervising and monitoring methods of instruction, collaborating on selection and evaluation of instructional materials, developing and implementing instructional goals, supervision of staff, managing building security and staff procedures, management of building, interpreting policies related to faculty, staff and students, responding to and resolving complaints and grievances of students, parents, and staff, managing school safety and security processes including crisis management procedures, providing leadership to address student discipline issues, fiscal management, and communication with students, parents, communities, and staff.Position: Elementary PrincipalDepartment: AdministrationReports To: SuperintendentExempt Status: ExemptRequired Qualifications: Hold a current Minnesota Teaching License, hold a current Minnesota Principal License or have the ability to obtain by July 1, 2026.Preferred Qualifications: Experience as an elementary teacher and/or administrator, hold a current Minnesota Teaching License with elementary education or K-5 specialist.Contract: Full-time, 12 - Month, 260 day contract starting July 1, 2026.Salary and Benefits: A competitive salary and benefits package will be available based on candidates qualifications and experience.Deadline: Applications accepted online at sibleyeast.org.
