Process Engineers

The Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing production processes to ensure they meet quality, safety, and throughput targets. The role requires close collaboration with design, production, quality, and maintenance teams to drive continuous improvementKey Responsibilities• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, waste, and improvement opportunities.• Design and implement process improvements, including layout changes, parameter tuning, and new work instructions.• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process flow diagrams, and control plans.• Conduct risk assessments, DOE, and process validation studies (e.g., capability studies, line trials).• Support introduction of new products / processes into production and ensure smooth ramp up.• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, cycle time, OEE, and defect rates; prepare reports for management.• Enforce compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards (e.g., ISO, GMP, or relevant sector norms).• Lead / participate in Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen initiatives to reduce waste and improve productivity. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Industrial / Production Engineering (or related field).• 7–9 years of experience in a manufacturing / process engineering role (can be adjusted by level).• Familiarity with process mapping, PFMEA, control plans, DOE, and SPC.• Proficient in CAD / process simulation tools (AutoCAD, Tecnomatix, SAP VE, or similar, as per your domain).• Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma principles is an advantage.• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills; ability to work in cross functional teams.
