Door and Window Installer

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window/Door Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of windows and doors in residential and commercial properties, ensuring that each installation meets our high standards of quality and safety. This role requires a combination of technical skills, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Install windows and doors according to specifications and building codes. Perform necessary adjustments to ensure proper fit and function. Conduct caulking and sealing to prevent air and water leaks. Utilize locksmithing skills for secure installations. Engage in frame carpentry to prepare openings for installation. Execute metal stud framing as required for specific projects. Install fixtures related to windows and doors, ensuring functionality. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including electrical work when necessary. Maintain a clean and organized work environment during installations. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions or concerns. Qualifications Proven experience in window and door installation or related fields. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot installation issues. Proficiency in caulking, welding, trim carpentry, and fixture installation. Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations related to installations. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
