SAP Semantic Data Engineer
Job Summary (SAP Semantic Data Engineer) Design & Development: Create SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics solutions using ABAP CDS views (analytical, transactional, composite). Analytics Enablement: Develop operational and analytical reporting via SAP Fiori Analytical Apps, Query Browser, and KPI Modeler. Semantic Modeling: Translate business reporting needs into scalable, standardized semantic models and data structures. KPI Standardization: Maintain consistent metric definitions and standardized KPIs/measures across SAP S/4, BW, and other analytics platforms. Documentation: Document data models, business logic, and transformations to ensure data governance and maintainability. Data Integration: Design and manage SAP Datasphere Replication Flows for ingesting S/4HANA data, supporting near real-time analytics. Monitoring & Optimization: Oversee and optimize data replication, handling data validation, delta processing, and troubleshooting issues. Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, data architects, and functional teams to align solutions with enterprise data strategy. Data Governance: Support high-quality, governed data models to enable reliable decision-making and enterprise reporting. Technical Skills: Utilize expertise in SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, ABAP CDS, SAP Fiori, Datasphere, and BW data modeling.Requirements (Skills & Experience) Experience in SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics & ABAP CDS view development. Proficient with SAP Fiori analytical tools (KPI Modeler, Query Browser). Hands-on with SAP Datasphere (replication flows) and SAP BW modeling. Strong understanding of semantic modeling, KPI standardization, and data governance. Ability to translate business needs into technical models and reporting solutions. Knowledge of delta handling, real-time/near real-time data processing, and data quality validation. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. Collaborative, able to work in a hybrid (Dallas, TX or Miramar, FL) and cross-functional team environment.
