This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret technical documents, and the safe operation of woodworking tools and machinery.This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in craftsmanship and quality.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesInterpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine materials and specificationsOperate woodworking machinery including saws, routers, planers, drill presses, and sandersAssemble components using nails, screws, adhesives, and other fastening toolsInspect raw wood materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are metAdjust machinery settings to maintain product accuracy and consistencyPerform light maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of tools and equipmentMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentParticipate in cross-training and team collaboration as neededPerform other duties as assignedRequired Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredExperience in woodworking, cabinet making, carpentry, construction, or manufacturingAbility to read and interpret blueprints, measurements, and technical documentsComfortable operating hand tools and power toolsStrong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailAbility to work safely and efficiently in a production environmentAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamPhysical Demands & Work EnvironmentThis position is located in a manufacturing/production environment and may involve:Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reachingUse of hand and power toolsManual dexterity and hand-eye coordinationLifting materials and components as neededExposure to typical manufacturing noise levelsWorking around woodworking machinery and equipmentBenefits & PerksCibes|Symmetry offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package, including:Generous vacation, personal time, and paid holidaysMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company contributionLife and disability insuranceGym membership reimbursementVolunteer time opportunitiesOpportunities for advancement and career growthEmployment RequirementsEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, drug screen, and any position-specific testing required.Equal Employment OpportunityCibes|Symmetry is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
