Our operations include transports to hospitals, rehabilitation centers, dialysis appointments, skilled nursing facilities, and other healthcare destinations throughout the region.This position is based in North Philadelphia near B Street and Venango Street.ResponsibilitiesSafely transport patients to and from healthcare facilities and appointmentsProvide compassionate and professional patient care during transportAssist with patient movement using stretchers, stair chairs, and related equipmentMaintain communication with dispatch and healthcare facilitiesComplete required documentation accurately and on timeMaintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of ambulances and equipmentPerform daily equipment and vehicle checksWork professionally and efficiently in fast-paced healthcare environmentsRequirementsRequiredValid Pennsylvania EMT CertificationCurrent CPR CertificationEVOC/EMSVO CertificationValid Pennsylvania Driver's LicenseClean driving recordStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to assist patients and lift up to 150 lbs with team assistancePreferredMinimum 1 year EMT or ambulance transport experienceFamiliarity with Philadelphia and surrounding countiesExperience in BLS transport operationsImportant ExpectationsAt Hayatt Health Service Ambulance, professionalism, reliability, and patient care are essential.Attendance and punctuality are critical job requirements.Employees are expected to maintain respectful and professional conduct with patients, facilities, coworkers, and the public at all times.Hayatt Health Service Ambulance maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding drugs and alcohol.
