Goodwill of Colorado is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing career pathways and life-skills training for over 105,000 individuals each year. Our mission is to empower military veterans, seniors, youth, and those facing barriers to employment through our thrift stores, donations, and community partnerships. Summary
BankWork$ is a comprehensive program offered at no cost to teach all the skills necessary to be ready to launch a career in retail Banking. It is 8 weeks long, Wednesday to Friday 9a.m. to 2p.m. and is a certificate program endorsed by the Colorado Banking Association. Upon completion, bank role opportunities include Teller, Personal Banker, Universal Banker and Customer Consultant. Average starting pay is $19.00 to $25.00/hr with competitive benefit packages. BankWork$ partners with 19 Banks and Credit Unions in the Denver/Aurora area who help to provide this program to the underserved members of the Community.
Responsibilities
Attend all 8 weeks of training - no cost
Completion of assignments and exams
Work well with diverse populations
Participate in exercises and make presentations
Requirements
Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles.
Prior cash handling
18 years or older
Fluent in English - bilingual skills are a plus but not required
No criminal history
