This particular role will primarily be servicing of aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and businesses. This is an entry level position that requires basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly. heavy lifting, bending, and many physical demands are involved in the position. This is a part-time position.Hours will vary from month to month but will average around 8-10 hours every 2 weeks.Would be working around a business' hours. Servicing bi-weekly before or after hours.Monday | 2–7 PMTuesday | 11 AM–7 PMWednesday | 11 AM–7 PMThursday | 11 AM–7 PMFriday | 11 AM–5 PMSaturday | 10 AM–2 PMSunday | ClosedTravel in a 150 mile radius of San Antonio, TX will be required. Currently no accounts that far.Servicing 3 large aquariums and an aviary in the San Antonio area. (Leon Valley/Alamo Heights areas)(Mileage reimbursement is paid while driving. Hourly Wage is not paid during driving)Cities will include: San Antonio with the potential to add if accounts are added.Due to work being performed in long term care homes, masking/goggles may be required.Storing 50# bags of bedding and seed for one aviary, along with 3-4 27 gallon totes of supplies will be required for the job.Major position responsibilitiesWell organized and possess excellent time management skillsProfessional appearance with excellent communication skillsEffectively communicate company products and servicesAble to prioritize and handle multiple tasksInner drive and desire to exceed goalsRespond to calls, emails, faxes to take care of customer needsAble to make an efficient work scheduleManage service cycle for customer baseRequired education, skills, abilities, and experienceExperience in fish keeping and or bird keeping preferredGreat attitude and willingness to learn.Ability to continually adjust priorities to match the business need.Strong work ethic along with being on time and maintaining good attendance.Ability to successfully communicate and contribute in a team oriented environment.Must have the ability to comprehend and follow instructions and to read and write in English.Preference given to candidates with mechanical aptitude.Willingness to be flexible with schedule and job responsibilities.Able to travel in your service area radiusHeavy lifting and maneuvering is required.Flexibility is a must!High School education is preferred.Driver’s License requiredJob Type: Part-timePay: From $25.00 per hourExpected hours: 8-10 hours bi-weekly.
