This is a hospital-based position at our hospital facility in Western Kentucky. Opus Pathology is a physician owned practice in the middle Tennessee area with a large outreach including numerous hospitals, physician practices and surgery centers.Key Responsibilities:Provide high-quality diagnostic services in surgical pathology and/or subspecialty areas (e.g., general surgical pathology, gynecologic pathology, gastrointestinal pathology, etc.) commonly seen in community practiceIntegrate effectively with hospital clinical teams and laboratory staffParticipate in tumor boardsServe as the clinical and anatomic laboratory medical directorFrozen section analysisBe an ambassador for Opus Pathology while fulling supporting the needs of the hospitalQualificationsMD or DO with board certification in Anatomic and Clinical PathologyEligible for medical licensure in KentuckyProven excellence in verbal and written communicationAt least 2 years of work experience post training is recommended
