This role focuses on Early Intervention and involves providing in-home therapy services, with occasional Telehealth sessions as requested.Service Areas: Bellflower, Norwalk, Artesia, Cerritos, Downey, Lakewood, Long Beach, Torrance, Carson, Montebello, and Pico RiveraPay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour (based on experience)Hours: 5 40 hours per week (depends on part-time or full-time position)Position DetailsPart-time (minimum 5 hours per week)Full-time (35-40 hours per week)Flexible schedule (daytime, after school, evenings, and weekends as needed)Home-based therapy services with occasional Telehealth sessionsResponsibilitiesConduct pediatric patient assessments to determine speech and language disorders using either DAYC-2 or Bayley Scales 4th EditionDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans for patientsProvide speech therapy services to patients with various communication disorders, direct in-homeCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care as neededMonitor and document patient progress electronically and adjust treatment plans as neededEducate patients and their families on speech and language strategies for improvementAbide by ASHA CFY standards and guidelines for supervisionQualificationsMasters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited programKnowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and languageCCC-SLP certification and California state licensure (required)Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary teamStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExperience with children and early intervention (preferred)Bilingual in Spanish (preferred, but not required)CFYs are encouraged to applyService AreaSubject to therapist preference.Cities include:Long Beach, Lakewood, Norwalk, Bellflower, Cerritos, Artesia, Hawaiian Gardens, Carson, Torrance, Hawthorne, Lomita, Wilmington, Pico Rivera, MontebelloBenefits401(k) PlanContinuing Education Credits & Professional Development AssistanceDental, Vision, and Health InsurancePaid Time OffOpportunities for AdvancementReferral ProgramAbout Hummingbird Speech Inc.Hummingbird Speech Inc. is a boutique speech pathology clinic dedicated to supporting individuals from birth through adulthood with mild to severe communication challenges.
