Lifeguard and Swim Instructor

We are looking for fun, energetic employees who have a passion for teaching kids and have an interest in teaching swimming lessons. Canyons Aquatics club has been the Santa Clarita leader in aquatics for the last 45 years and are looking for more teachers to help us continue our legacy. No experience is necessary, however some swim team experience is recommended. Our program is geared towards advancing students onto the competitive team while fostering a fun atmosphere. Must be capable of passing a lifeguarding course. Must be comfortable teaching children 3-17 years for age. Must be comfortable being in and out of the water for the whole shift. Must be at least 16 years old to apply. Must complete our swim instructor certification training We operate Monday-Friday 3:30 pm-7:00 pm. We are flexible with scheduling, and willing to work around schooling, and other jobs. Our swim lessons operate year round at an indoor pool. Our competitive salary will commensurate with experience.
