We treat patients with opioid use disorder (OUD) using medications such as methadone and suboxone/ buprenorphine. Day in the Life of a Physician Evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in our outpatient clinic settings.. Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments as indicated by patient assessment. Complete medical documentation per Crossroads standards Collaborate with clinic staff to provide holistic care to patients, including referrals to other medical providers and community services. Schedule & Locations Florence/Darlington/Myrtle Beach/Charleston 5-6 hours at each center weekly (20-24 total hours weekly) Example of hours: Florence and Darlington centers are open 5am-11am, Myrtle Beach open 5am-12. Education and Licensure Requirements Master's Degree and licensed as a Physician in the state of practice (SC) DEA licensure in SC Medicated Assisted Treatment (MAT) experience Additional education or certification may be required depending on state of practice.
