If you are organized, customer-focused, and enjoy working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, we encourage you to apply.Position SummaryThe Front Office Registrar is an essential member of the healthcare team, working collaboratively with Providers, Nurses, and Clinical Support staff to ensure efficient and timely patient flow. This role is responsible for completing pre-visit preparation, verifying demographic and insurance information, and supporting scheduling processes to promote excellent patient care and operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and check in patients in a professional and courteous mannerVerify and update patient demographic and insurance information prior to appointmentsPerform pre-registration and pre-visit preparation to support timely patient flow and prompt reimbursementSchedule and reschedule patient appointments in accordance with provider availability and organizational guidelinesMonitor provider schedules to maintain productivity standards and maximize appointment utilizationAnswer phones and respond to patient inquiries regarding appointments, insurance, and general office informationCollect and document required patient forms and information accuratelyMaintain confidentiality of patient records in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policiesCollaborate with providers, nurses, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care coordinationAssist patients with questions and provide excellent customer service at all timesMaintain an organized and efficient front office environmentPerform other administrative duties as assignedQualificationsEducation & Experience:High school diploma or GED requiredPrevious 2-3 years' experience in a medical office, healthcare registration, or customer service setting requiredExperience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems preferredSkills & AbilitiesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of insurance verification and appointment scheduling processes preferredAbility to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all timesLanguage SkillsBilingual English/Spanish preferredWhy Work at Optimus Health Care?Mission-driven, community-focused organizationSupportive and collaborative team environmentOpportunities for professional growth and developmentEqual Opportunity EmployerOptimus Health Care is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
