Prevention Program Field Representative
About the Position: The individual selected for this position will work in the Prevention Division of the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS). Under general supervision, this position will serve as a liaison between ODMHSAS, community organizations, schools, state agencies, and more to support the goals of the school-based prevention services team. Key responsibilities include conducting school outreach, supporting schools in the implementation of prevention programs, collaborating with internal and external partners to plan and develop needed prevention services, providing or coordinating technical assistance and training, monitoring programs and projects, and assisting with recruitment and education efforts with schools regarding participation in the Oklahoma Prevention Needs Assessment survey. This position also ensures compliance with ODMHSAS standards, evidence-based strategy requirements, and other applicable governing/codified standards in managing and delivering prevention services. Knowledge of and experience working with schools, youth-serving organizations, and community-serving organizations.
