This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of CNC and fabrication equipment to ensure maximum uptime, safety, and efficiency.Our facility includes a variety of equipment such as laser cutting systems, press brakes, turret punches, and other automated machinery, including AMADA equipment. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipmentTroubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsDiagnose equipment issues using schematics, manuals, and diagnostic toolsPerform emergency repairs during production and scheduled maintenance during downtimeInspect and test equipment to ensure safe operation before returning to serviceCommunicate maintenance needs and schedules with production teamsAssist with equipment installations, moves, and facility maintenance as neededUse hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectivelyFollow all safety standards and company proceduresQualifications5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing environment required)Experience with CNC or fabrication equipment strongly preferredExperience with laser systems, press brakes, or turret punches a plusAMADA experience preferred, but not requiredElectrical troubleshooting experience (motors, controls, wiring) preferredAbility to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manualsStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentMust have own basic toolsAbout the Company:Special Products & Mfg., Inc.
