Technical Services & Applications Engineer\n\nTimpl has partnered with a global leader in 3D inspection technology for\nelectronics manufacturing company and is looking for Technical Services &\nApplications Engineer.\n\nRequirements: \n * Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, or relevant Associate's Degree,\n or equivalent studies in vocational or military training.\n * Knowledge of electronics manufacturing, robotics, PCB assembly, and/or AI;\n 2-4 years of experience desired. ? Excellent oral and written\n communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.\n * Strong computer, software, and networking skills; strong mechanical aptitude\n\n\nRequirements (continued): \n * 2D/3D AOI and 3D SPI programming, operation, and maintenance experience,\n preferred.\n * 75% or more travel, domestic and international (valid U.S. or Canadian\n Passport, required).\n * Able to work effectively and independently with minimal supervision\n * Ability to readily understand and interpret detailed documents, drawing, and\n specifications.\n * Must be able to communicate clearly in in giving effective presentations.\n * Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and\n customers.\n * Proactive, with good organizational, administrative, project management, and\n teamwork skills; detail-oriented. ? Able to work under pressure and time\n constraints; handle challenging and unexpected situations in the field. \n Valid U.S. or Canadian driver's license and good driving record.\n\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment: \n * Requires the ability to use a computer on a frequent basis.\n * Ability to travel to customer sites on next-flight basis is routinely\n required, along with occasional attendance at training courses, company\n meetings, technical conferences, or other job-related events and activities.\n * Ability to perform duties of this job in noisy environments, working near\n moving parts and machinery, being exposed to vibration, or other situations\n commonly incurred in light industrial manufacturing environments.\n * Ability to occasionally move heavy objects in a safe manner.\n\nBenefits: \n * Health/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance at no employee premium (including\n dependent coverage) \n * 401K retirement plan with 5% matching\n * Generous PTO and paid holidays
