Senior EPC Project Manager - Utility Scale Solar

Job Description: Senior EPC Project Manager – Utility Scale Solar Location: Illinois (Travel as needed) Compensation: $145K–$175K Start Date: Immediate Overview We are looking for a Senior EPC Project Manager to oversee multiple utility-scale solar projects and manage a team of EPC Project Managers. This role requires 5+ years of experience in EPC-level solar project management and a proven ability to lead large, complex projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities Provide strategic oversight for multiple EPC solar projects. Mentor and manage EPC Project Managers and supporting staff. Coordinate design, permitting, procurement, construction, and closeout phases. Ensure budget adherence , cost forecasting, and financial health reporting. Oversee procurement and subcontracting , ensuring timely execution and mobilization. Maintain project schedules , production tracking, and reporting to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with contract documents and manage formal notices/change orders. Act as primary point of contact for client communication and stakeholder engagement. Drive continuous improvement in QA/QC, safety, and project delivery performance . Qualifications 5+ years of EPC-level solar project management experience. Strong leadership and mentoring skills. Deep understanding of utility-scale solar construction and EPC processes. Ability to travel as needed; open to relocation. Familiarity with major EPC contractors and renewable energy best practices.
