Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney with a strong background in plaintiff work to join and lead our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of handling personal injury cases from inception through trial, with a deep understanding of Georgia law and litigation processes. This in-office position requires a highly motivated attorney who is passionate about advocating for injured clients, delivering exceptional legal representation, and fostering a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of personal injury cases, including auto accidents, slip and falls, wrongful death, and other negligence claims. Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents. Prepare and respond to discovery. Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and trials, effectively advocating for their best interests. Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel. Lead and mentor a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants, fostering professional growth and development. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient case management and a high standard of client service. Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and updates. Stay current with developments in personal injury law and applicable state and federal laws. Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school. Admission to the Georgia Bar and in good standing. A minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, with at least 3 years in plaintiff work. Proven trial experience with a successful track record of favorable outcomes. Previous experience in a leadership role, with the ability to nurture and grow a team. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
